Nedholm’s technology

We at Nedholm are extremely proud that all the products in our catalogue are produced the old-fashioned way - most are handmade without the help of any advanced technology. This is a conscious decision on our part. This is Nedholm's choice. For the same reason, we have focused on wood and nature-friendly coloured finishes.

At Nedholm, very simple machines are used to produce most of our products. We do not have any computer-driven technology, not to mention robots. All our products are made by hand with great love and dedication. Therefore, we consider ourselves to be craftspeople rather than a modern industrial enterprise.

In regard to our technical solutions and decisions, we should mention that spirited bright tones are added to our designers' creations using only ecologically pure water-based stains from the Swedish manufacturer, Herdins.  The stain adds a hue and look to our products, while revealing the wonderful structure of the birch wood, thereby assuring the consumer that the product is natural wood. Every day, we focus on the final quality of the products, which begins with carefully selected birch as the raw material.

We are a very flexible company with receptive thinking. Of course, we always take our clients' wishes and choices into account, while also paying equal attention to preserving nature and the balance of nature. All of the above provides one of the keys to our long-term success.
